Documentation regarding Torzon Market operations, security protocols, and transactional mechanics. Comprehensive answers for buyers and vendors operating on the darknet.
01 // PLATFORM_OVERVIEW
Torzon Market is a decentralized darknet commerce platform launched in late 2022. It functions as a secure intermediary connecting over 52,000 active users with a curated list of 1,450+ verified vendors. The architecture is built to withstand censorship and surveillance, ensuring 99.9% uptime.
We facilitate the exchange of digital and physical goods using cryptocurrency, backed by an automated escrow system that enforces trust between anonymous parties. Our infrastructure prioritizes operational security (OpSec) through features like Pin Login, PGP 2FA, and image-stripping Stealth Mode.
Verification is non-negotiable in darknet operations. Torzon Market digitally signs its login page rotation with a PGP key. You must import our public key and verify the signature presented on the landing page.
We strictly advise against clicking unverified links from forums or private messages. Always utilize the verified mirrors provided on our Official Links Page. A successful verification confirms you are communicating with the genuine Torzon server infrastructure.
02 // SECURITY_PROTOCOLS
PGP Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is the gold standard for account security. Upon login, the server presents a challenge: an encrypted message that can only be decrypted by your private PGP key. You must decrypt this message and enter the code to access your account.
This ensures that even if your password is compromised via keystroke logging or database leaks, your account remains impenetrable without your private key. We strongly recommend enabling this immediately in your account settings.
Stealth Mode is a specialized interface option for Basic-Plus and Premium members. When active, it strips all product images and non-essential CSS from the browsing experience. This serves two purposes: it significantly accelerates page load times over the Tor network, and it mitigates visual eavesdropping (shoulder-surfing) in public environments. It essentially turns the market into a text-only data terminal.
03 // FINANCIAL_OPERATIONS
While Torzon accepts Bitcoin (BTC) for accessibility, Monero (XMR) is the superior choice for darknet transactions. XMR utilizes Ring Signatures, RingCT, and Stealth Addresses to completely obfuscate the sender, receiver, and transaction amount on the blockchain.
Bitcoin transactions are public and traceable by chain analysis firms. Using XMR breaks this link, providing true financial anonymity. XMR deposits require 10 confirmations (approx. 20-40 minutes) before appearing in your wallet.
Our Escrow system is designed to remove trust from the equation. When an order is placed, the buyer's funds are moved to a temporary holding wallet controlled by the market. The vendor is notified to ship. The funds remain locked until the buyer marks the order as "Received" or the auto-finalization timer (14 days) expires.
If an issue arises, buyers can "Extend Escrow" or open a "Dispute." Disputes freeze the transaction and summon a moderator to review proofs. Funds are never released to the vendor until the contract conditions are met.
If a deposit is missing, verify the transaction on a blockchain explorer first. Bitcoin requires 1 confirmation; Monero requires 10. Torzon addresses rotate for privacy; sending funds to an old, expired address may result in loss. If the blockchain confirms success but your balance is zero after 60 minutes, open a support ticket immediately with the TXID and destination address.
04 // VENDOR_LOGISTICS
Vendor status is reserved for serious merchants. Creating a vendor profile requires a non-refundable bond of $300 USD (payable in BTC or XMR). This bond acts as a filter against scammers and low-effort listings.
Applicants must demonstrate PGP proficiency and adhere to strict listing formatting. Experienced vendors migrating from other markets with verifiable reputation (Recon/Daunt) may apply for a bond waiver via the support ticketing system.
Torzon operates on a flat commission model. We charge a 4% fee on the final value of all completed sales. This fee is deducted automatically at the point of escrow release (finalization). There are no monthly listing fees or deposit fees for buyers. This structure aligns the market's incentives with the vendors' success.
Torzon adheres to a harm-reduction philosophy. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for: Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), human trafficking, murder-for-hire, fentanyl and its analogues, poisons/toxins, and weaponry/explosives. Any vendor attempting to list these items will face an immediate, permanent ban and forfeiture of their bond and wallet balance.
